Ancient Greece History



The people who lived in ancient Greece thrived nearly 4000 years back. The civilization was centered on Europe and after this the region is called Bulgaria and Turkey. The rulers of the Greek civilization were in thirst of shooting other civilizations. And so the empires spread their culture all over the Europe. Nobody could beat them and additionally they were the most powerful civilization that lived on earth between 2000 BC to 146 BC.

Many Greek parents wanted the youngster to be a child, because only a son could care for them later on in their life. The daughters went away following the wedding and they also wished to offer a dowry. The Greek houses were created using sun-dried bricks & most of them were small. There were slaves for the rich individuals and people slaves had to accomplish every work of those. They produced their own cloth from cotton or linen materials.

The Greeks were extremely spiritual and they thought that the Gods and Goddesses cared for them while living in a cloud palace which can be placed over the Olympus hill. Athens was the capital town of Greece and individuals who lived there became rich with valuable resources of silver and marble. Democracy was invented to the world by individuals whom lived in Athens and only male everyone was offered the right to vote for something. They got together and discussed the issues prevailing in the country and those meeting places can be seen right now.

Whilst the people of Athens had been attempting to form a federal government considering democracy, the competitors who had been called Spartans had two kings. One of them remained utilizing the individuals plus the other went for battles. The Spartans were great at battles and they spent considerable time training for them.

The first Olympic Games were also were only available in the ancient Greece over 2700 years back. Initial games had been held in Olympia, in the honor of Zeus, who had been considered as the king of Gods. The Greek culture was complete with arts and most of the metropolitan areas had theaters. All of them were open theaters and people gathered in those to take pleasure from dramas and music. A rich architecture prevailed during those times and it will also be seen from the ruins left. The Greek sculptors had the talent to create figures of Gods and individuals and those statues had been maintained towns and temples.
